Fellow WHOers

Does anyone know when the dates are for the two legs of the cup final? I know we are at home for the second leg

Thanks in advance

Amazing crowd at the Boleyn ground tonight

Over 13,000 supporters will be at the Boleyn ground tonight to cheer on West Ham Academy boys in their U21 Premier Cup.

We have been told by the West Ham ticket office this afternoon: “Attendance currently sits at about 13,000 with the tickets issued including the academy allocation. We have the Bobby Moore Lower, Betway Lower and both tiers of the STB Stand open. The STB Lower is cash turnstiles via turnstiles 0-5 open from 6pm!“

The match will be the final U21 game ever played at the Boleyn Ground, which will see Terry Westley’s Hammers host Hull City in the first leg tonight with a 7pm kick off.

Tickets for the Sir Trevor Brooking Lower stand at available on cash turnstiles at a five pounds per person.

A large number of first team players are expected to attend the match this evening to show their support. Manuel Lanzini, Pedro Obiang and Enner Valencia will be appearing to pose for photographs and sign autographs for fans in the club shop from 4.30pm.

I'm going but as I said earlier, we'll need to play a lot better if we are going to lift the cup.

Away leg is the better one to go to tbh, actually get to see West Ham lift something.

Plus good day out if you're with a crowd like the Hornchurch lot...

Pretty much what Wanstead said. Awful game which Hull should have won IMO.
I was impressed with Samuelson's talent though and Oxford is a class above.
Byram did okay. But I didn't know he was playing until mid way through the second half :/

It was fucking freezing.

Hopefully they'll play with a bit more freedom up there and bring it home.

haven't seen any highlights but I'm liking the fact that it seems we have a gem with Samuelsson judging by your reports and his performances for Peterboro'. Nice one Man City for letting him go......

It was a pony game and Hull were the better side on the night.
And yeh, it WAS fuckin freezing.

Still, we got the win and let's hope we can nick another win up there and bring the trophy back.

Bloke at work was going to this... half day meeting some mates up there saying goodbye to the ground... train pulls into the station and then he gets a call from work he's gotta come in as one of the systems he looks after has fallen over... I left at 5:30 and he was still here... sacked it off

Its not always an advantage to play the kids infront of a very large and expectant home crowd. I guess approaching 16-17,000?

10,000

Buck up, little camper.

Having more space always help politeness and even litter. Decent people everywhere.

Re: Under-21 Premier League Cup Final (West Ham v Hull) >13,000 attendance?
Been back & forth to Ireland a lot this last few months and always feel depressed when I get back here, litter absolutely everywhere, roads backed up every day and drivers sitting on the outside lane of motorways all the time.

Whereas in Ireland, there is absolutely no litter anywhere to be seen, the roads are empty and people pull across to the hard shoulder/slow lane to let you pass and are always polite and friendly.

Give me Ireland over the once great country any day right now.

The froze just a little on the night as we did in the stands, however we have a one goal advantage to take to the Bargain Bucket Stadium next week and I think that might be in our favour.

Pretty poor game which Hull deserved to win imo.

Samuelson looked good but didn't have that final ball last night.
